I have our two most popular gift baskets on sale for 50% off.  The sales will last only as long as our current stock does.    The Cowboy Sampler is especially a good deal for $32.50.  It contains a variety of products including chili mix, salsa, queso, 3 armadillo droppings, BBQ sauce, bag of nuts spiced or sweet, olives or hot sauce.

The second basket on sale is the Howdy Hat!  It is a cowboy hat stuffed with goodies, a bandana, texas flag mousepad, jumbo jellybeans, pasta, salsa, and the funny Texas TAWK dictionary.

If you eat one Killer Pecan, you won’t stop eating them.  These sweet and spicy pecans are utterly addictive.  My clients who buy these continually order them.  Our first busy Christmas came with many sample bags from the Killer Pecans company.  All our holiday workers would polish them off so quickly, it almost came down to fighting!  These Texas pecans are the ultimate gift for your in state and out of state friends.

While on the Texas Wine Trail near Austin, I heard the most fabulous idea for a twist on an evening coctail!  Take a good white wine (I don’t like dry so I used a sweeter white) and put a Sweet and Hot Jalapeno in it!    It flavors the wine beautifully!!!

These jalapenos are one of the best sandwich additions as well!  Most of my clients order then by the case!  This is one of my products that I keep in my personal pantry too.

BeerBBQ and Jardines Steak Seasoning.  You’ll understand why when you try them.  Here are my favorite recipes:

BeerBBQ Pork Grilled Ribs with grilled Pineapple slices

1-2 racks of Pork ribs

fresh pineapple sliced into rings

Heat your grill to 500 degrees.  Smear the BeerBBQ heavily onto the ribs, cover with a grill spray that is non flamable.  Put ribs straight onto hot grill.  Turn over after 3 minutes.  Leave on grill for another 3 minutes.  Turn off the fire on one side of the grill and place ribs over the indirect heat side.  Leave other side of the grill on medium to high.  Cook for a total of 45 minutes flipping once.  After you pull them off, let them sit for 10 minutes before cutting into the ribs.

Grill the pineapple slices for 1-2 minutes each side and serve with the ribs.

I have put BeerBBQ on chicken, pork ribs, steak, and turkey.  I haven’t found one that it’s not good on!

What a cutie!  This chair is the essential camping/tailgating equipment.  Impress your guests with not only the food at your tailgate.  Talking of food, check out the post about my favorite meat rubs, BeerBBQ and the Jardines Steak Seasoning.

"Mama, can I have one too?"

These delicious chewy dark caramel pecan pralines are definitely the most original candy made in Texas.  Their name comes from a funny story about the lady who was making them.  She was interrupted during the stirring to chase armadillos out of her yard.  Because of the delay, the caramel “burned,” darkening past the recipe’s instructions.  However the alteration turned out to be better than the original and they were named Armadillo Droppings.  This candy is definitely my favorite in the entire store.  I hope you find the time to enjoy them soon!
